Hans Ullmark Recommendation:
To whom it may concern,
June 5, 2007
Of all the people I’ve worked with during my 30 years in business, a handful have stood out as
being really excellent at what they do. One of them is Amanda Grant.
During the last two years, we’ve worked together on some very large branding and
communications projects for Seagate Technology. I dare say without Amanda’s intelligence and
firm hand, most of these projects would not have turned out as well as they did.
Amanda’s ability to see clearly and anticipate what needs to get done is impressive. In a world
filled with process oriented marketing people, she operates with the process as a handle, and
with the end result as the driving force. The process is second nature to her, and that’s why
she has this unusual ability to move the projects forward with such determination.
Not only is Amanda a great project manager, she’s also an intuitive marketing and
communications thinker, able to select big creative ideas and strategies.
Then there’s her people skills. Amanda deals with people with remarkable ease, leveraging her
positive and straightforward attitude, which makes it so enjoyable to work with her. Devoid of
corporate politics, she’s the ultimate team player, and her confidence and efficiency rubs off on
everyone involved.
Amanda understands extremely well how companies operate, so she’s always able to find a
way to get to the goal line with everyone’s integrity intact—and with the integrity of the project
itself intact. Her strengths include the ability to create sustainable relationships both internally
and externally with vendors and partners.
I congratulate the company that will bring Amanda on board. You’ve just made your company
better.
Sincerely,
Hans Ullmark
